Podcasting Feeds
Podcasting allows people to receive new audio content to listen to with
an MP3 player (much like an RSS feed that sends new content to read). A
Podcasting receiver automatically downloads new MP3's as they are added
to our site, which can then be directly added to your portable MP3 player
or played on your desktop using an MP3 compatible player.
Help Getting Started with Podcasting
You need to install a Podcasting Receiver or iTunes. Once you have a receiver
installed, subscribe to any Podcasting feed by copying the feed url into
your reader (feeds are in the XML format). To find the url, right-click
on our PodCast icon and choose "Copy Shortcut" (if you click
the link itself, you will receive the actual xml code; the url is also
found in the address bar of that page). Switch to your receiver application
and follow the menus to add the channel (see specific application documentation).
Once you have subscribed, your receiver will automatically check the channel
for updates.
The format used is RSS 2.0 with enclosures.
